What size tires should I put on my Foose?
Yo! Y'all!
So now that I've gottem, what size tires do you guys think I should put on 'em? Remember this is Colorado, snow and rocks are the main environment, and the truck would be doing duty in bad weather on the highway. Here's some pics for decision making: And I just HAD to take this one: The wheels are 17" x 8.5", so the rubber would have to be fairly wide, but the environment would dictate moderate width. And I need height to reduce engine rpm at highway speed and protect those rims! Please post your thoughts, and THANKS! Todd.

Pro Comp A/T...35x12.50x17. Good riding, easy to ballance, and not too bad price wise.

Those wheels are going to look awesome! I change my mind let me have them ha ha. I assume you are leaving your truck stock height? If so I would run a 285-70 or if you put a 4" lift I'd buy a set of 315 H2 takeoffs and run them. How soon are you going to get tires?

Personally, I have always liked 255/85R16's. 33" tall, only 10" wide. Or 285/75 16's to go a little wider. Much wider, and everything gets strewn up the body. It really depends on how much crawling in the rocks you are planning.

Yo! Y'all!
Just got back from "my tire dude's" place in Greeley. NO, cochino12, you cannot have the wheels,...I like 'em too much, and everybody drools over them! 285x70x17 Firestones are 33" in height, 8.5" tread and look great! $200 each though for the 3/4 ton, but saved so much on the wheels that I can afford the tires! I'll have to sell the new 245x75x16s that I have now. Oh well. Todd.

don't sell the ones you have if you don't need to, it's always good to have another set in case of misshaps or whatever...I gave away a set of half ton ralleys and tires cause I had sold the truck. Now that the truck came home...

Re: What size tires should I put on my Foose?
Yo! Y'all!
Tomorrow should be my half-day at work so I hope to have my new Foose Spanks wrapped with 33" Firestone 285x70x17s. Even the special splined lugs are really cool looking (also make it nearly impossible for anyone to steal the wheels)! I'll hang onto my new 245x75x16s on the stock steel rims for now,...grinch4om makes a good point. And I can always sell them,...they've only got about 100 miles on them! I'll post pics of FRANKENTRUCKs' new appearance ASAP! Todd.
