396 and 700r4 for sale or trade

Just like the title says. Engine and trans came with the truck. I bought the truck with the intention of swapping in an LQ9 and 4L80e. I ran the truck for a couple of months with this combo and it ran fine and damn fast. Engine might need a starter soon, but that's the only problem I saw.

I'd like $900 for the combo.
$750 for the motor alone
$350 for the trans alone

Or will trade for:
4L80e and converter
67-72 doors in good condition
67-72 front fenders in good condition
SWB cab sides

or bring other trades....open to offers....will ship

Block casting number - 3855961p

Comes with alternator, power steering pump, water pump,starter, carb, whole deal. Having to take off AC compressor in order to reuse it as I have vintage air.

Too bad SC is SO FAR AWAY!! A casting date or the 2-3 letter code off the front engine pad, behind the alt would verify for sure if it is a 396 or the way more desireable 427 (factory 427's are a bit pricey due to them only coming in Camaro, vette, ect. MAybe you should check it out otherwise it may be a "steal" to buy a 66 vette 427 for $900, or just a good deal on a 66 396?!
