Exhaust Opinion?
Well all last year my truck (250 six) had a dual header which i hated because it leaked a lot and was obnoxiously loud. I went to the junkyard today and scored huge. Part of my score was a manifold so now i have to redo the exhaust too. I was thinking of ordering the complete exhaust from LMC. Any opinions on what will sounds better behind a mild 250? Turbo muffler or glass packs? Or is the compete exhaust from lmc junk i figured it's $120 probably under 250 to my door and that seems like a bargain to me.

Re: Exhaust Opinion?
Have you checked local shops yet? You maybe surprised at the cost.

Re: Exhaust Opinion?
I got mine from Advance Auto for around 130 I think it was. Go there first, you'll get to pick a muffler that comes with it. I picked a Thrush Turbo for the lower notes it put out, sounds meaner and doesn't have the raspy sound of the Glass Packs.

Re: Exhaust Opinion?
The shops around here are stupidly expensive, unfortunately in Alberta the rececion has yet to be felt, about 120-130 an hour for shop labour and i was told materials run me $80 bucks for 6 feet of tubing by most shops that would put me up fast.

Re: Exhaust Opinion?
choose that muffler carefully remember you have a 6 banger and it won't sound the same as a v-8. that said i'd go turbo unless you have heard one of the others and like it.

Re: Exhaust Opinion?
Thanks for confirming what i thought. I know it wont sound like a v8 (part of the reason i bought it). I have never heard a six on glass packs and don't know if i would like the sound i imagine they would make. I am told a turbo muffler sounds nice on these sixes that is what i think i will go with.
