Re: FRANKENTRUCK's New Boots
Looking good Todd,
I think it is sitting just right. Looks real aggressive with the larger tires and wheels. I Do agree the wheels are a bit bright with out fresh paint and it will look killer when that is done. Once you get those head bolts re torqued your going to really be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Have fun with it!

Re: FRANKENTRUCK's New Boots
Yo! Y'all!
Been busy pulling, preping, and painting my headers along with the final headbolt retorquing on FRANKENTRUCK's new engine. I DID get it washed, and got some pics in good light today: And this one with the spot that the cow crushed the rear quarter (I REALLY like the bullet hole!): I remember one of the members suggesting that we should post pics of us with our trucks, and I thought that was a cool idea,...too bad all I could get was this jerk to pose with the truck: Todd.

Yo! dammitmitchell!
I don't have many friends, so you'd better be one of them! This is just what FRANKENTRUCK deserved,...it's worked it's butt off and been degraded lying in a cow psture for four years! Now it's time for it to show! I just can't believe it!! I'm amased!! Thanks, all! Todd.

Re: FRANKENTRUCK's New Boots
That turned out really nice. The whole time prior I kept picturing these big Ford F250's with oversized bling bling wheels that stuck out too much and had black rubber bands for tires. Kinda ruined modern wheels for me.
Fortunately, this turned out really nice ! Good job on selecting those wheels and tires.

Re: FRANKENTRUCK's New Boots
Had to do it todd, evil cows, well at least my dog thinks so, barks at them at 2am when they are in the field across the highway. Ive been taking alot of notes from your build and ive enjoyed its progression, how much lift did you use? Its a nice aggresive stance, yet nothing too outrageous for daily driving.

Re: FRANKENTRUCK's New Boots
I am duly impressed! I didn't think they would enhance the coolness of this truck but I stand corrected...I dig the snot out of this truck and I don't know why, it's totally not my style but ... I would sport it!

Re: FRANKENTRUCK's New Boots
Yo! All!
Thanks for all your nice comments,...it DID turn out good! And that's what I demand in each of my projects,...so it's good to hear that it looks good from people that appreciate trucks! grinch, I know the very tire/wheel appearance you speak of,...OK for some, but not for me! THIS is what I'd envisioned FRANKENTRUCK to look like when finished. And those DAMN cows,...with big, nasty teeth! Look at the teeth! Miserable beasts. Crushed my qpanel and chewed the paint right off FRANKENTRUCKs' bed! Guess they liked it too. Actaully, Walts, this truck sits at the height that the '73 flatbed's suspension dictated,...I made no changes in lift. And I'm pretty sure that the flatbed sat at stock height,...both 3/4 tons were pretty equivalent overall, including height. The stance and wheel/tire combo allows the tires to fill the wheel wells nicely too. Thanks, again!! Took me a year,...FRANKENTRUCKs' hulk was dropped next to the flatbed donor in my driveway January 11, 2008,...but I got a pretty good result from the work I put in. Now if I can just get that jerk away from MY truck!! Todd.

Re: FRANKENTRUCK's New Boots
You've got a vehicle to be proud of- keep the "jerk" under the truck so he can make it even better!
