Red face electric oil gauge

Have 73 gmc p/u, would like to have help in installing an electric oil guage. I'm changing from mechanical to electric and the guage is in the cluster and am installing a complete cluster. This cluster is bascially the same except for the oil guage and in place of the blinking light when starting is a clock. I've checked the diagram in my gmc shop manual and it shows a pink wire coming from the fuse block to the guage and a drk blue wire to the oil pressure switch.

Re: electric oil gauge

Can't help you with that, but you know you're going to have to rewire the amp gauge circuit to read volts, right? Otherwise, you'll have crispy wires when you hit the key.
