Will Lmc blazer tank work with fuel injection

Yea, I know Ive been askin alot of questions the last week or so, just tryin to get my ducks in a row. Im putting a 1996 5.7 in it with fuel injection and was wondering if the blazer tank kit will work with it. Do i have to use a baffled tank? Can I use the factory fuel pump that came out of the 96 donor in the Blazer tank ,and will are the gauges the same ohms (96 & 69)? or would I be better off to use the Blazer tank with an external pump. Ive been told a external pump off a 1996 f-150 is the correct pressure, I dont know. What set ups are you guys using for putting rear tanks in our trucks with 5.7 fuel injection?

Re: Will Lmc blazer tank work with fuel injection

I used the newer tank on my truck and I found out that the older sending unit will not work with a FI tank. The FI tank has a square pan built into it and the sending unit will not go down in it. I am not sure if the sending units for the FI tank will go into a older tank. To be safe I would guess the external electric fuel pump would be best.
