292 Stuff

Kind of a stupid question, but What kind of performance can I expect from my 292 I6? I want to leave the stock motor in it but probally down the road add some performance too it also...

Is there anyway to get this kind of rumble [ or deeper ] with the 292?

I'm a killer for the loud deep rumble so if thats anyway possible, let me know

also.. has anyone ever put a good cam in a 292?

Re: 292 Stuff

You can get that same sound using the likely culprits...i.e flowmasters, etc. You can get the raspy real old timey sound using chambered mufflers from older corvettes or Smithys glasspacs, and something in between the two with cherry bombs.
