to install and you wont have to run an oil line into your cab. Is that the only mechanical gauge? s/t

Re: Which guages?
I think the speedo is offered elec. or mech. also. I'm not sure which other ones.

Re: Which guages?
I'd go with the electric speedo too, it's way more accurate and easy to recalibrate if you change gears.

Re: Which guages?
Is there anything you have to have to convert to elec. speedo? Will it still run off of the same speedo cable?

Re: Which guages?
It should come with a sender you screw into the speedo cable threads on your tailshaft, then you just run the wires to the gauge. There's a button you push on the speedo head to calibrate it, I think they have you push it, drive one mile and push it again, and you're done.
No more bouncy needle when it's cold out or if you put too small of a bend routing the cable. If you're running a later trans like a 4L60/80E with a built in speed sensor, you can just use that signal. I'd like to see one of the gauge companies do an electric conversion of the stock speedo head...

Re: Which guages?
A guy in fort worth that i worked with when i lived there. Not a professional but he re-primered it in his shed for $250. Can't beat that. Other than that, the previous owner had the rest of the body work done in San Diego, CA. It's always been primered since I bought it in 2001.
