Re: what do you do ?

What do ya got?(Marlon Brando/Wild Bunch)

I`m a carpenter that is barely carpentering these days.Been in the biz since`73.I`m about carpentered out.I love the work, tired of the business end.Can still work circle around a youngblood, but prefer finess.I have built custom homes from post & beam solar to earth shelter to Victorian and done alot of renovations. My primary business for 25 years has been siding/exterior trim/architectural features.I`d butcher a hog for a buck right about now.Looking to get into something new to tell the truth.
I was a husband but getting out of that, too. Justa single dad trying to see my son through high school. The hardest job I`ve ever done.

I started my career as an automotive machinist, went to wrenching soon after, then back and forth between the two. Been with the rail road for some time now, fixing everything from 25cc weed eaters to 4400 horsepower locomotives.

Your guys build some mighty fine equipment. Lots of it used down here.
You have every reason to be proud of what you build. Keep up the good work.
