Just checking in from Sacramento CA, currently working on a project for the wife and I, its a 72 SWB Fleetside, got the 5.3 dropped in last week, and no the wiring will start . After that not to sure on what to tackle next but im sure you guys can help out with that, as for the motor for right now its a 5.3/4l60e out of a 05 Silverado, plans for it are to hopefuly get the ls6 intake and cam here shortly to install.

I would hope to get about 18-20mpg out of it, but who knows how that will go.
