Looks like an 1156 bulb, so yes they make LED replacements.

Not ot hijack, but where is a good place to purchase LED replacement bulbs from? That way you wouldn't get burned while working under the dash by these bulbs.

i hooked some up on my dd. the interior for that truck is light blue so i just bought some lamps from the irish mafia or wally world, cant remember which and hooked them up. They work very well, and they have covers over them that are blue. I think there was also a few other colors too, I dont remember

Do you have any pix of where you mounted the switches in the door jam? Also, how did you run the wiring? There is a raised area in the jam that looks as though that was the intended purpose, but there's no access behind it without doing a whole lot of cutting. I have the whole lighting kit but haven't figured out how to get access for running the wiring. Can anyone help?

I'm sure he just tapped into the dome light's wiring.

yes I did. My trucks already had the plungers in the jambs.
