Grill dimensions
I am in need of a dimension from a 47-53 Chevy truck grill. I need to know the width of the grill from side to side. I am trying to mock up the front sheet metal and I need to know the proper distance between the front fenders.
Thank you Marc |

Re: Grill dimensions
Are you at a point that you can put the hood on and make the fenders fit to the hood?

I forgot about the taper. I am still pissed that I threw out my mock up grill. I must have got too excited when I took a bunch of scrap metal to the yard $$$$. Marc |

Re: Grill dimensions
on the remans....make positive you start from BARE metal and build them there. I got one that was painted in some kind of enamal I guess, but the metal was completely rusted beneath the paint.
the grill was brand new FYI. |
