Ovel port Performer RPM AirGap would be a good choice.

i think just the performer intake would be better as it comes on quicker. i dont want anything in the higher rpm range. jmo

Maybe on a 454 or smaller BBC. A 496 needs to be able to inhale & the RPM AirGap allows for that while not losing any torque on the low end.

Do they make a tall deck intake?(aftermarket) If not dont forget the spacers. But I agree with SCOTI,a performer RPM Air-Gap will probably work the best for a stroked Big Block.
