ls 5.3 swap

i have the chance to get a complete swap from a 01 suburban for 325 motor and trans
what all do i need to get and were is the ecu located thanks the onley bad part is that it was in a collision and its going to be a job to pull it thanks

Im actually thinkin about doing the same thing, if the powertrain u are looking
at is in good condition I would have to say it is a steal for 350 bucks depending on the milage. The ECU is located just below where the main
underhood fuse-block is located at, good luck!

yea thanks what all parts do i need of of this im gonna take the cluster to see how many miles are on it is there any way to check the cluster there

follow the large group of wires from the engine to the ECM

I'd also suggest getting the underhood fuse block and the OBDII conector from under the dash

if its drive by wire (I don't think 01s were) you would need the gas pedal assembly and the throttle control box.

Sounds like a good deal for the $$$
