Re: Mustang Buckets
Any clue as to what generation they came out of? If they are early ones, they may look good, but are worth more $$ as mustang seats than in an old chevy truck. If late 80's to date, they'll probably look kinda funny (polite way of saying they'd look retarded) in MY PERSONAL opinion. A member on here had '80's mustang seats in his 68 short step, and they just didn't "work" with the truck.

Re: Mustang Buckets
Yea I have a 93 fox and with out some major seat overhaulin they would be strange looking in a 67-72-hell I hate them enough to replace mine with a set of late model mustang seats.been looking for a set of leather ones

Re: Mustang Buckets
I wouldn't let the buckets stop me from buying the truck if you like the rest of the truck. If you don't like the looks of them they are either trading material or probably a easy Craigslist sale.
I've got a late 80's early 90's bench in my 71 and it sits pretty comfortable for me at 5-10 and shrinking and my 4-10 wife can drive the truck comfortably but she thinks it doesn't like her. As it doesn't appear that you are worried about being able to shove the seat all the way back you might check out the seats in a later model GM pickup. I'd stick with standard cab seats as apposed to extended cab but there are some really nice leather seats in some of those trucks and some nice bucket seat setups if you want buckets. |

Re: Mustang Buckets
its deff. not a deciding factor.. exp when the truck is free [well trade for an un-used item....]
there just comming with the truck, not even bolted down.. if they really just dont seem right, i'll take 'em out and put the bench in from my 63.. and throw a walmart Mossy Oak seat cover on it. then put the buckets in my DD 85 dodge diplomat
