What fittings do you use?

I have some brass compression fitting I am using now but i really don't like them very much. I feel the quick disconnects are safer. My brother has the quick disconnects and I am leaning more toward those. What is everyone else running?

I like brass DOT fittings. Usually Parker fittings.
Look at your local Fastenal Store. They ordered mine and had them in in 2 days. They also stock the black "plastic looking" fittings,... but I don't think they are DOT.

Re: What fittings do you use?

depends. dot ptc brass for the daily and anythin i run under 200psi.
compression fittings for the hopper (~400psi). i feel safer with those, and my local fitting place doesnt carry anything over 1/2 for ptc. i also run hydro hose before the valve.

All brass sealed up with white pipe cement. I got mine from a local big rig supply shop, or NAPA.

I like Nickel Plated ASCO Push To Connect fittings. Otherwise I like to run hardline with a 37 degree flare or double flare fittings and aluminum or stainless line.
