Whats this?
My guess is cruise control? It came in a box off parts, think it came off a 350... Any pictures of one installed? Thanks

I have one of these on my 79 BelAir. It is vacuum controlled & is also thermostatically regulated by a switch down-line of the carb on either the manifold of the thermostat housing. It opens & closes the "flapper" valve just after the passenger side exhaust manifold. It forces the exhaust gas to go through the hole in the head that goes from the middle exhaust port, through the intake manifold & out the other head/manifold. There’s a bracket that attaches it to the manifold stud. From the dark days of performance certainly, but here on the frozen Prairies, it did it's job well.
