Cool pics, did you get any rear shots of the red one by chance?

Re: Trucks from Shriners Hot Rod show

I was at the show also. Some really nice 67-72' there and some other GM,MOPAR and furds too.
I realize the Orange truck is a Furd but I talked to the owner and wanted to share what he told me to maybe inspire someone else.He has a complete Town Car driveline and floorpan under the truck. It has the dash and guages from the TC.The top was chopped and cab lengthened. The hood was reverse tilt. The owner claimed he had no idea how many hours he had in it though he built it in about 3 months to driver. He drove it 26,000 before he completed the body and paint.

BTW He told me he had around $4,000.00 in the whole truck. He said when you're poor you have to make do with what you got.If he was truthful then he has some skills and a lot of desire.

The Impala is for Asa who IIRC really likes the lines of these cars.Next year we should do a meet at this show.

Re: Trucks from Shriners Hot Rod show

Greensboro NC in the coliseum. It's a yearly fundraiser for the "Shriner's".I go nearly every year. There's usually about 150-200 rides and an indoor swap meet.Just right for this late in the year where it's not warm enough for outdoor shows,It is $12.00 a head which is higher than I'm ussed to paying for a show but the $$$ goes to "Shriners Hospital" so it's all good.
