to each his own ... but that's gotta be one of the most hideous conversions i have seen .... i give the guy credit for his work, its top notch ... but the two different generations do not go well together.
Just my opinion ... and you know what they say about those ... |

Hey thats not as bad as some of the kits you can buy...thats the best blending work ive seen in a while. Much better than what most people do and just slap a 97 box on a 67 truck and think its custom work. I respect the fact that he put some work/thought into it.

The box looks kinda cool, but the grill is turd.
maybe it'd be cooler if they would've used the newer hood somehow and kept the old skool cab? weird stuff. nice work though. |

I hate to pick apart someones hard work but, as I've said before... If you must put a late model bed on a classic, at LEAST match up the wheel wells. In this case I would have smoothed out the fender lip on the bed to match the front.

I give it a C for creativity,
Check out the way the lower body line flows into the bed steps. I would have looked better with a different grill. |

Over all I like it, I would love it if the grill was narrower (did not go all the way accross the front). And like 70 Jimmy said the wheel wells don't match. I however would make the front match the back. This is a great idea but needed to be looked at and photo shop first so that these items could be seen. If some one knows how to do it (a few modifications in photo shop) and show us the truck with the mods I would love it. Look at the grill on the SSR truck and you will see class ( I LLLLLLove the SSR) not a very usefull truck only about 2 feet of cargo area but cool. If you don't know the SSR look it up it's a new chevy truck due out soon. A+ for effort and work but C for overall apperance in my book. A+ for the dash and the rest of the truck. Joker69
