it has been converted already to the floor shift, but it wiggles a WHOLE lot ... i can find the gears, sort of, but its so loose and everything wiggles i grind it so much ... so if i can get it tightened up and whatnot, i think it might work??? wish me luck ...

Re: i cried a little bit ...

Take the linkage loose at the transmission and get it out of the truck and look at the bushings and such. If there missing are they are out of shape go buy new ones.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: i cried a little bit ...

Is it the three speed still? Take the shifter out of the truck and see if it has come apart. You might have some slop in the shifter itself.

Re: i cried a little bit ...

its still the 3spd converted to floor ...

the best i can see, which isn't much is that the linkage joints aren't tight, looks like the bolt thru there is where there's play, but until i get it all up in the air to see, and taken apart, i can't be certain, of course ...

Re: i cried a little bit ...

Might be a good time to buy a good shifter to go along with the clutch.
I converted mine way back when to the floor but I swaped for a 4 speed, did that for a few years then went to a auto.
