Tailgate Band How-to

have a blazer tailgate band that i want to adapt to my truck i have seen it on a few trucks and would really like to do this to mine how can i put it on i tried and it didnt work. please help.

i think the blazer tailgate has alot shallower insert depth because of the electric window mech. and the truck has alot deeper insert spot due to it not having anything inside.

If your truck tailgate had the band, then it is as simple as 1) Flipping the handle as N2TRUX stated. 20 use the brackets from your orginal band and the screws to hold them to the tailgate. Just swap the brackets to the Blazer band and bolt it in. Your done

i tried that but the bracket that it has is like folded over and its kind of weird cause to bend it back i know i will mess something up.
