i have a chance to get a clean workin tach with 100mph speedo here locally from a friend...it was taken out of a 76, but not sure if it was origional to the truck...

anyway, will this fit in my 81 or will i have to do some mods to it
to make it work properly...it worked when it was taken out the 76 so it DOES work....just wanna make sure it will work in my 81..

all you tach dash guys gimme some help!

Yes the speedo should work. They didn't go electrical till later.
