'69 3/4 ton brake job
Hey guys, my '69 3/4 ton custom camper's brakes are shot!
I have heard that on the older 3/4 ton's the rear axles need to be pulled to do a brake job. Is this so?

It depends on what diff you have. The Dana's have outboard drums which will come off. The Corp rears have inboard drums that require pulling the axles. The corp rears have a round ten bolt cover.

When you pull the wheel look and see if there are a couple of screw heads between the studs. If so unscrew the screws and then take the drums off. If the drum appears to be fastened on from behind the flange that the wheel bolts to you will have to pull the axles first then pull the hub and drum as an assembly.

Re: '69 3/4 ton brake job
I remember tryin to check the brakes when i first bought it, and there were flat blade screw heads. They were so insanly stuck, and the brakes worked, so i said screw it.
So seeing screw heads means no axle pull?
