67-72 Door differences?

Are there any differences in the 67-72 pickup doors?

I'm looking for a replacement drivers side door for my '68 and wondering if I can use any year door?

Thanks in advance.
Mike

Re: 67-72 Door differences?

67 - 71 are the same, but '72 is different. '72 doors will bolt on, but the window regulator and door handle stud length is different, and you cannot mount your door panels. 72's had plastic door panels that attach with push in clips instead of screws.

Re: 67-72 Door differences?

Plus 72 doors have an extra little screw on the inner pannel of the door that helps brace the inner parts of the window/door. The attached picture is something I randomly found on the internet, not sure who's it is. See the little "dimple" and screw in the upper right, directly below the vent window? That's only on a 72 door.

Yep, you are correct. I forgot about the extra screw.
