Suburban measurements: Help needed! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello everyone. I am currently working on a 69 Chevy C10 which is to become an extended cab. I need the measurements of a 67-72 Suburban Drivers Door.
Here is an image to help understand what measurements I need. I am basically trying to make the door frame out of extra doors. I know I can simply purchase new doors but I am doing it to gain experience. Plus its always good to save a few dollars. Anyway here is an image to show what measurements i need. A = distance from corner to corner of top of frame. B = Measurement of interior corner to corner C = measure of angle between both horizontal and vertical member.

Also, if anyone is in Dallas, TX I am willing to drive and measure the door. Let me know if its possible.

1st off, Welcome from Indiana..........

I See that you have been trying to gert these dim's for awhile now, I just went out & Measured my 68 Burb Door for you ..............

A=24 1/4 Inch
B=22 3/8 inch
C= 9 3/4 inch

C was measured from 7" up & Across, I Hope this will give you what you Need & Good Luck with your Project

Actually Did'nt notice that till you mentioned it, I usually check New Post's everytime i get on to see what is Current & That is where i found it
