I use a medium tipped flat screw driver and stick it under the round part of the needle and twist it so the head of the screw driver pops it off. If your guages are very rusty you may end up breaking the little rod that the needle presses onto. Be very carefull. The needles on the lower guages I leave on. I just drilled the face rivets off and the faces slide out with the needles intact.

It would look cool in that for sure. That interior is sweet. I put this on ebay the other day. The reserve is 105 bucks and it ends tomorrow, in case anyone is interested.
