Re: woodgrain for gauge cluster and glove box
For the guage bezel, I am not sure, but there seems to be a problem with shrinkage over time. I recommend trying to find the newest batch out of somewhere. The trick that I have found out on the board and did for mine is to get some Contact Cement for like Counter tops & such and put that on the back side of the overlay. It helps to reduce the shrinkage on them. Just be sure to clean it before it dries if you get any around the edges. For the glovebox, I recommend getting a whole new aluminum piece with the woodgrain already stamped on. I used a overlay for mine, but will probably get the whole aluminum and everything this time around.

Re: woodgrain for gauge cluster and glove box
I got mine from a board member "Teeitup" it was some old stock from a closed up parts place. You can get both of those at any truck parts place. I like Ron Mane's truck parts. (Mane's Truck Parts)

Re: woodgrain for gauge cluster and glove box
im sure with a little patience and a guy who sells veneers you could have whatever you wanted there are tons of different real wood veneers some even come prefinished with 3M adhesive on the back just spray the other surface with a shot of contact cement. did it all the time when i was resurfacing cabinets!

Re: woodgrain for gauge cluster and glove box
I got mine from http://www.classicparts.com/.
Adhesion was still an issue. I used a hot blow dryer to help adhere the woodgrain. It worked wonders. It helped to vulcanize the glue on the back of the decal to the face of the bezel. I originally got a new plain bezel and tried to adhere a new decal to it myself. Boy, what a pain trying to line it up. I found it worth the extra money getting one already put on for me. Maybe you have more patience than I do. I think I paid $59. I used my stovebolt discount code and got a 10% discount by typing in "stovebolt" in the discount code field at checkout. Good luck.
