They do pull like a mule. I had one in my GMC with 4.56 gears. You could lug it down to 15mph in 4th gear and floor it, and it'd chug right off and SLOWLY pick up speed. I did put a Holley 500 2bbl on mine, which made a world of difference compared to the original Stromjunk. The motor was worn out, so I took it out and swapped a 350 in, which was a good idea IMO.
