i got a gear reduction unit that way you dont have to take the tailshaft off it just screws on like a speedo cable then you hook your speedo cable to it

i went to a local pull a part yard and just grabbes one of another tranny

I dont know much about transmissions except that I like over drive. Can you send me a picture of what you are talking about.
