I need a pair of gaskets that go under the 71-72 style sport mirrors. I could also use a new set of mounting screws. Any vendors carry them? How much? Please include shipping to 65251.

I've seen two styles of door reinforcement/mounting plates (and screws) for these mirrors.

1) The more common style uses sheet metal thread screws (I can check length and diameter if you need) and thread directly into the door reinforcement/mounting plate. You can buy these at your local hardware store in stainless steel.

2) The other style uses 1/4" coarse thread countersunk machine screws that thread into nuts welded to the backside of the door reinforcement/mounting plate. I have not found appropriate small head screws for these (all heads are too large on hareware store replacements I've seen).

Do you need the first type?

I believe they are the second type.
I really need the oem gaskets worse. I had a set ordered from ECE but they no longer sell they separately from the mirrors.

I have a pair of originals (used) you can have if you want them- they are in very good shape just used. LMK
