81 Stepside completed
I thought I would post some pictures of my stepside I just completed after a year of hard work and almost a divorce . This was my dads truck when I was 17 . it set in the backyard of my ex wifes house for 13 yrs before I decided to restore it . I took what he wanted to do it years ago and added some upgrades . Now I just have to talk him into driving it down the track the first time . Thats enough bull sh*t about it hope you like the pictures . This is a great forum with alot of good info .

Bad a$$! I love it. If I was your wife I'd be right out there with you helping you build it! Awesome work.

She liked at first helped out when I needed a extra hand. But then I was told I spent more time with my truck then with her . But she loves it now that its finished . She dont know about the other project im going to start Its all worth it when my dad cant stop smiling and when my 2 yr old son runs to the door when I crank it up wanting to go for a ride in the vroom vroom . Im trying to put together a slide show from start to finish ,not to good on that kind of thing .

Yeah, thats a good feeling when your project gets everyone excited. Thats how it used to be when I had my Camaro. (R.I.P.) What's the new project?

Re: 81 Stepside completed
Thanks for the info on the info on the windows movie maker Im using some program my wife bought pain in the a$$ . On the gauges I think they are 2 5/8 gauges they are the ultra light gauges and i bought the bezel from lmc . I got the idea from this site some one wrote a thread on it . You have to use a dremel on the bezel to enlarge it just a hair . The tach is a dash mounted i just made me a bracket for the back of it . I will look when I get home to make sure of the gauge size and will get back to you . Thanks For the comments
