1967

Hey everyone.... I went to do sone work at a house this morning and I pulled up in my Suburban and the guy said come see what I have in the barn. Well it was a 1967 chevy stepside that he purchased about 10 years ago from the original owner. I asked him what he had done to it and he said that he just repainted it the original green.

It looked to me to be completely original and it had 41,000 miles on it and the guy said it had about 40,000 when he bought it from the original owner. It has the small rear window and A/C. It even has the original bench seat in it. The engine is a 283 with a 2 speed power glide. Other than the dust on it, this thing looked like it was off the show room floor.

I will try to get some pictures when I go back to finish some work.

Doese anyone know what a truck like this might be worth? He dose not want to sell it but I was just courious.

Re: 1967

Pictures will tell us a little more - Sounds like a nice survivor, though -

Re: 1967

value depends on the local market, but 3 to 4 K is WAY too low on any market for a (as described) dang near perfect all original well optioned truck.
8000 to 12000 sounds more like it to me... again, pending photos.

Re: 1967

If it's mas nice as I am picturing in my mind, I would say $8,000 plus to the right buyer. $6,000 would be a pretty reasonable price.

Re: 1967

PS - I typed my reply before I saw Andy's, and I had put $10,000 but then dropped it back to $8,000 knowing how hard it has been to sell these trucks at decent prices lately.
Just saying that so you know my thought process, and that it wasn't influenced by Andy's post.
