Hello out there ! Im planning on putting a 2-1/4 drop spindle, disk brake kit on the front of my truck, i have never done this before. i would like the stance of my truck to stay the same, just lower. i got the drp kit in a trade, but do not know if , im going to need coil sprins 4 the rear, if so will i also need shorter shocks,or what? if some could help me get thru this it would be a great help. THANKS

do you have a pic of your truck as it is now? you probably will need drop shocks for the rear if you add 4" drop springs in the rear to keep the same rake,......... depending on how much you want to spend.

Re: i need info 66 short,stepside.
air bags are not too expensive, its the air managment systems that cost $. just start looking at the suspension section and you'll have alot of your questions answered. theres alot of good info here!

Re: i need info 66 short,stepside.
I have to downsize my pics at least 40% to get them to load. Hope it helps.
You will probably not need shocks in the front....2" isnt much. You will definitely want to lower the rear and will want to run a shorter shock as PROSTREET mentioned.
