Disc brake kit differences
Classic Performance Products has two disc brake kits listed. One uses the 71-72 parts and the other uses 73-up parts. I was wondering if there was any difference in performance between these two kits?
Link Kit #6370SWBK-6D and #6370SWBK-6OE Does one give better turning radius than the other? Does one have bigger discs/pads than the other? Any other benifits from one to the other? Also, if anyone has good/bad experiences with the rear disc upgrades, I'd appreciate your thoughts on that. Thanks.

Since no one has responded...here's my opinion. Although I didn't go with ECE kit's, I did use the crossmember swap off a '77. I prefer rubber bushings over the screw in style. I feel they're more reliable, but there are lot's of people who will disagree with me.
If you go with the screw in style, make sure you replace BOTH the bushings AND the rod. (Of course if you buy a whole kit, this is moot.) I had replaced the bushings on a rebuild and within a year ended up stripping the threads on both. I then decided to go with the '77 style rubber bushings (and upgraded to disks) as I had more experience with them and felt more comfortable.

73-87 kit cheeper parts for later on when you neeed to do a brake job. or ball joints all around I bought the kit it includes western spindles and everything you need. The only prob would be it you have a center link with the large holes all you would have to do is find one with the small holes and you would be set. I think it's a good kit. the kit uses 67-70 inner tie rods on the outer.
