Timing Marker

Is this at zero? Or is it all the way to the left or ???
It's emabarassing that I have to ask this, but I've been working on Buick v6s too long. I'm about to post another embarrassing thread--stay tuned.

looks like it to me. Pull the number 1 plug and stick a stiff piece of wire in. The wire should stay at the top of the hole. That's d be a way to ensure your mark is accurate. Could even pull the drivers side valve cover and check the rocker arms, if you can move them- you're at #1 tdc

I think that if you remove the rest of the paint on the tab. You will see the numbers for the timing marks.
