I don't know how he put 10k in that motor. Not worth the $13.5k buy it now price.
It's a clean truck but that's about it.

Re: another eBay truck... pretty sweet.

granted, it "is" nice, but in my opinion (which dont mean much), if i were to pay $13,800 for one of these trucks, it had better be dropped, have some sweet ass wheels, and rear disc brakes

it is a nice truck though, and the bed looks like new inside

Not for me. It has to have stock ride height and stock rally wheels. Would prefer a 73-80 nose too. I don't even look twice at lowered trucks with big rims.

Cool Re: another eBay truck... pretty sweet.

The motor is real nice. It just seems like for $13k it should be dropped, have some rims, and a bad a$$ paint job.

Re: another eBay truck... pretty sweet.

Try and build one like that for 13K. Motor, trans, rear end, and paint alone can put you right at that number real quick.

Yes, 13K is alot of money for a 73-87. I'm just making a point that it's real easy to get 20K invested in a vehicle that you get half of it back if you're lucky. In this economy, probably a whole lot less. It's definately a buyers market, if you've got the cash.

Agreed. Nice truck, but they are a love, not an investment for me.

Re: another eBay truck... pretty sweet.

Thats where I'm at. I've built, and am rebuilding mine again. I know what it takes to go through one. I'd rather buy one that some one spent the money and had the headaches of rebuilding. Just drive and enjoy... maybe some tweaks here and there. You save so much money that way...

I have a 406 in my Blazer and I have put some money into it, so I can see motor and tran could be $10K.. I bet it's fast too..

Re: another eBay truck... pretty sweet.

It seems that our trucks rarely bring over 10k right now . , whereas a 67-72 would be a quick sell for the sellers buy it now price. Just give them a few more years . But based on what the seller has done to this truck , he is asking a very fair price for it ; its just that there are still too many in service . Of coursr ther are exceptions to everything > this could be one of those > all in the eyes of the beholder <

Re: another eBay truck... pretty sweet.

If what he says is true, I can assure you he has over 8k in paint alone. It is a nice truck, but I'm not sure I 'm digging the Blazer seat in the bed. Legal or not....
