Need to know stock ride height on 1968 c10

Hello all.... I have searched the internet and can't seem to find the answer. I have recently got myself a 1968 prostreet truck and want to upgrade the front suspension w/ some tubular control arms and dropped spindles. I want to make sure I order the correct stuff. It appears to me that the front sits a little lower than stock. Can someone please tell me what the stock ride height on a 1968 c10 1/2 ton is?????

Thanks....

Re: Need to know stock ride height on 1968 c10

If I recall correctly, the stock height is measure from top of the wheel arch to ground. The rear is 34" from arch to ground and there is a 2" difference/rake from the front to back on stock trucks. So, this would leave you at 34" rear and 32" front. These are also with the stock tires and rims, so make sure to check for any differences.

Hope this helped,
