Posted this '67 for a friend of mine

-
A friend of mine called me and asked me to put his '67 on craigslist.

http://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/1046273464.html

It's a nice truck. I told him if he wanted to drop it to $3000 to let me know and I would change the ad. (Read- delete it)....

If I had a place to park it I would jump on that truck now! Living downtown with no parking sure stinks.

If your asking if I think it would make one I can't answer that because I haven't driven it.

If your asking if I would have time to drive it to NM, possibly, if I wasn't in the middle of painting the '71. It looks like we have two or three more weeks of part time work left on the painting...

Yes take tools! I'm bringing home a 71 suburban parts truck this weekend. It's got a good seat in it (it will need recovered) as well as some other good parts. Let me know if don't find what you need at the upullit place.

Re: Posted this '67 for a friend of mine

I'll let you know. There is a hole where the driver sits on mine. The cover and the padding/springs need to be fixed/replaced. What is the padding like on the Suburban seat? You can kinda see it in this pic...

I will also be looking for a rear bumper to match my front bumper. There is a heavy duty work/towing bumper on the rear now. Here's my front bumper...

Re: Posted this '67 for a friend of mine

Tommy, no worse that that is, I would just get the upholstery shop to fix it. U might get lucky and find a bumper at the u pullit. Most bumpers I've seen like that are chrome. If you don't want to mess with it, I'll take the truck off of your hands.......

Hehe. You know, it really isn't that bad, and its only in that one spot. I think I will go to the upolstery shop down the street and see what they say.
