Mine was caked in oil which probably kept it from rusting. I will probably POR 15 the inside of it, just to make sure it never rusts....

Bump for you....amazing how the market's changed over the last 8 months for these type parts....probably would have sold for 5-600 last year this time on ebay. For example, I Saw NOS 69-70 grilles selling for 800-900 now selling for 450-500.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm going to hold onto it for a little while longer. I think even at $300 it's a good deal, you just don't see these in this good of shape that often. A junk one sold for over $150 on ebay. Maybe, I'll just hang it on the wall, .

Re: Rust free bed tool box door

yep, if you need the money sell, but if you dont, id wrap it up and store it.

if someone had some cash to spend right now, there are DEALS out there. i have seen cars trucks and parts for fractions of the price they were a few years ago.

to me people selling stuff have to get real on their prices, or just store them and pray things get better.

Smile Re: Rust free bed tool box door

Rob,
i say hang it on the wall. i have one NOS door and another that is perfect , rustfree in original paint with woodgrain trim. i paid almost 500 for the NOS door and got the perfect OEM one free. i won't sell either BUT if i did, neither would be as cheap as yours. sooner or later the economy will turn so i say wall art til then.
TTT for you.
