I saw a tach dash today. I'm not sure what it came out of becouse it had the fuel gauge on the bottom and where the big fuel gauge usually is. there was a big tach looking gauge but didn't say or have anything on it to say what it was for?

Re: wierd tach dash?

i could be wrong but that doesnt look like a fuel gauge, looks just like a vacuum gauge to me, they just wrote fuel on top of it, u can even see the numbers for the vac gauge id say it looks just like a vac gauge

Re: wierd tach dash?

I don't think that is supposed to be the actual gauge he saw, but a pic he titled with positions of what he saw....

Re: wierd tach dash?

I`m curious.I always wondered why the gas gauge needed to be so prominent.

Re: wierd tach dash?

The dash pictured is from a c-60 with an air gauge. I have never seen a factory variation where the gas gauge was in a different spot. My guess is it is a cluster someone made. Pics would be cool to add if you can get them.

Re: wierd tach dash?

that is actually a 10 - 30 panel with the air or vac guage added to it... or possibly a C/40 and up panel with the bezel from a 10 - 30 installed over it.
The actual plastic bezal is not the same C/40 and up. There is a difference where the column goes under it.
That's also a GMC bezal since it is tan.
Do you have a photo of the one in question by chance? It is not original, that's for certian.
