Seatbelt Help
Hey....I am replacing the stock seat in my '69 K20 with the 2nd row seat from an H2. I would really like to have shoulder belts and know some of you get them from the S10's, but I am not super small (6'3" and 250lbs). I would like to know what everyone is using in there trucks. Thanks in advance.

I just put a set of these in my truck and they seem pretty nice. The fit was a little tight on the driver's side due to the gas tank, but I got them to work.

I used a 1st gen S10/Blazer set of belts. I'm 6" 1 and 140 though, but it seems to have plenty of belt for a bigger belly. I have front seats out of an 08 Silverado in mine, and they sit a good bit farther forward as well

I got these in my '69. The buckle side is a hair short, may not work if you need to put the seat forward.

Thanks for all the quick replies. I weigh 250 but my gut isn't very big, I think the S10 belts would work. Do they have to be from the gen1 or can they be from any year and does it have to be from the blazer or the pickup, or does it matter?

I'm sure the blazer and S10 pick ups have the same front seat belt. I do believe it has to be a 1st gen, the 2nd gen had refractors up inside the B-pillar, not mounted to the floor like the 1st gen. Plus the buckles of the 1st gen are the metal ones that look nice in our trucks.
  You'll have to drill new holes for the buckle and re tractor mounts, as our seats sit higher than the S10 seats, and aren't long enough to reach to the stock bolt locations. I backed up all my bolts with 1/8th in steel plates and body washers. |
