Neuatral saftey switch question

Since my truck started life with a three on the tree does that mean I dont have a neutral saftey switch???

YUP! No fun when they start in gear, expecially when you are under the hood...don't ask me how I know!

correct.
it wouldn't be hard to wire it in if you feel you need it though.
Honestly, I've bypassed them on all my trucks for one reason or another.
I know... shame on me.

My shifter doesn't have a back up light switch. I wonder if I could rig up the neutral safty switch on the shifter to be my back up light switch

How hard is it to bypass one Longhorn? Just remove it or is it more to it?

Simple jumper wire on the two wires at the NSS.


Makes a good place to put a kill switch too.
