Re: For Sale Problems 67-72 Parts, Short Wide 1970 Truck
My guess is you were having trouble because you have to be a site supporter to place for sale ads on this site....
The mods will probably delete this post soon..... |

Must be a site supporter to post for sale ads.

Pay $25 for a year to support the board. It's to help keep this board online.

Re: For Sale Problems
Oh really,
So much for the annoying ads at the top paying for the site. What happened to free trade forums and trade sites. Here I am with a project I want to unload completely and am now urged to buy a yearly subscription to the very thing I am trying to rid myself of. Go figure. I like these trucks and if I had the money to work on it I might subscribe but in my current financial situation I cant pay to advertise. So I guess if you want to see what I am selling you will have to look at a compeditors forum. |

Re: For Sale Problems
Sorry you feel that way. There is a ton of info and great people here that pay a little over $2/ month to keep this place going. Vendors pay much more.
This is by far the best place to buy and sell parts (for these old trucks) on the internet.

Re: For Sale Problems
I feel your pain brother. Please don't be angry with the site. It's just the way it is here. I'm sorry you are getting rid of your project. If you were keeping it you would find the site to be a wealth of information that is all free. The only thing they are asking money for is essentially the right to advertise things for sale. None of these sites are free to the folks that run them, the money has to come from somewhere, here it's to advertise parts for sale. Given the cost of running a site like this vs. the number of members I really doubt there is any profit being made here.

Re: For Sale Problems
So you joined here, just to sell your truck?
I don't know of any site that lets you list your car/truck for free; except craiglist. And I don't like putting up with the bs/spam/swindlers responses you get there. Good luck selling your truck though.
