I have not used this carb myself, I work at a speed shop...
I don't think there is any issues with this carb... although it is based on discontinued Holley design... (they may even be built by Holley for Summit) I do not recommend this carb based on limited availability of replacement items and lack of general knowledge & tuning information by mechanics in your area. My shop does not stock any replacement gaskets, etc for these type/model carb (unless any one piece happens to interchange with a current design Holley, unlikely, maybe jets...) But, I myself would step up to the more common unit simply based on availability and common general knowledge... look at the street avenger either 570 or 670 cfm, Or if you not really wanting a Holley, A Edelbrock 1405 or 1406 a decent user friendly carbs also...none of these are a $220 carb, but are very good products...
