Need help identifying connector / plug
I need some help identifying this plug.
It's on a brown wire which goes into a protection tube with a lot of other wires. It's between the rear of the engine (driver side) and the firewall. The brown wire seems to go through the firewall into the cabine. On the plug the number 10 is printed. |

Re: Need help identifying connector / plug
Do you have an oil pressure gauge/light? Is it working? I can't quite see the top of mine it is burried down behind the air cleaner and the distributor. The oil inside the boot might be a clue. I looked at my 85 305 and cannot see where it might go but a 79 is older enough that they may have made many changes. I'll look the manual over for other possible suggestions. Good Luck!
