Only thing I would have done different is throw something under it (pallets or 6x6's ) Looks like a heck of a nice bed!! You do not find those in MO very often.

This is the last one I had, Sold it last fall.

I did the 2x4s across another bed and flipped it upside down and then strapped it down on the inside criss crossing the straps.....drove 2hrs down the turnpike @ 60-70mph and had no problems at all....good luck

I built a 2x4 cart for my box and bolt the box to the cart.
