project help

i am debating on fixing my longbed.. it only has two good crossmembers all the others are rotted. it has three or four holes in the floor and a couple big dents... should i attempt to fix it or not? and.. im thinkin about shaker can the floor on the inside black since im getting hush matt when its ready... good idea or bad.. next question.. i would like to get kick panels with speakers in it.. it had to have new metal put in there so do i just grind weld on the inside then call it good?
