Re: led lights

Illegalover here in the UK, only emergency service vehicles are allowed to show blue lights. The police tae a very hard line with it too.

Re: led lights

as it is in the US of A too... but off road it is OK. I wonder the legality of having them on in public access parking lots?
Gotta admit though... it does look bad ass.

Re: led lights

Oh I only did it for show. theyre on a toggle switch so I can turn em off while driving. Plus when theyre on with the lights it looks kinda like xenon from far away. Now I dont know if I should go blue paint now or stick with the gun metal grey I origionally planned. DECISIONS DECISIONS!

Re: led lights

Here in Arkansas, I've seen the cops sitting on private parking lots giving folks a real difficult time over any blue light on their vehicle.

Several years ago, we had the "Blue Light Rapist" who was a very sought after person of interest. He had a blue light of a sort that he'd put on the dash of his vehicle and then turn it on to pull over a targeted female.

Seeing your headlights, and knowing that your intention is strictly 'off-road" would make me very nervous to be anywhere near you if an officer wanted to know you in a "more personal" manner. If you come to Arkansas, I'd be pulling the electrical feed to those lights before crossing the state line.....just a friendly warning that the gendarmes just don't have a favorable viewpoint toward any vehicle displaying blue lights, other than law enforcement.
