Bellhousing covers
Would any of you guys have pictures of how the flywheel covers lower and upper go attached. I have a 67 3 speed manual transmission.

I may be wrong, but I did not think that the manual trannnys had any sort of tin cover. They only had the cast bell housing (?)

they have a cover bolted to the bottom to cover the clutch.I don't have any pics. Sorry.

These covers came off my 69.

Yes those, the bottom one i figured out how it goes on but the top one, what purpose does it have and where does that thing go.

It fills the gap on the front and the start runs through the hole.

You're in luck. I have a 67' Chevy with a 3 speed. Take the starter out (keep track of your shims if you have any). Put the smaller piece of metal in there (it only fits one way and it's a real PITA to fit it properly to the oil pan). Then the other piece simply bolts up there with the smaller piece inside the lip of the big piece. It's just one of those things that you gotta play around with.
