Re: custom dashes

ok. couls you get a pic of the back of your factory plastic. i wanna see how you chopped yours up. i'm thinkin of using a piece of alluminum sheeting and bending and cutting it to completely replace the factory plastic piece. think that would be possible?

what kind of modifactions did you have to do to make it fit?
Not sure how to explain but..I cut the dash in half then moved the two sections about 2 to 3 inches from center so that the notch for the steering wheel would line up with my steering wheel. Then just filled in the open area with sheet metal.
Here is the only picture I have of the process

Re: custom dashes

You have to buy it separately
You will need a factory bezel new or old
Gauges your choices of brand 5" for the tach and spedo and 2 5/8 for the smaller ones
billet instrument cover
and lights for the indicators

Re: custom dashes

you can get the gauges and lights at summit racing
you can get bezel from captkaos he's a site vender
but you can save a bunch of money like I did and made my own bezel out of aluminum or thin sheet metal, just need a jig saw or cut off wheel and a grinder or belt sander and these gauges

Re: custom dashes

Made it for a customer in Detroit for a 40 Ford truck. It actually wraps all around & across the doors. The truck will be @ the Autorama this weekend in Detroit.
